Everything is just peachy. Measuring 35cm. Good heartbeat. She turned head down last night, now lets hope she stays that way. Fetal Fibro came back negative and GBS came back negative. Cervix is high and thick.
I think she's in it for the long haul! I have to admit, I'd really like to have her here in 3-3.5 weeks, but I don't think that is going to happen. She seems to be so much more comfy in there than Maddox was!
Next appointment is May 12th. No more Fetal Fibronectin tests and I'll have another GBS test if I don't deliver in the next 5 weeks.

Haha.. Right!
Congratulations, Keri! You’re 34 Weeks Pregnant. Your baby measures about 19.8 inches from head to toe and weighs about 5 pounds. Baby has probably settled into the head-down position and is moving less frequently. Organs are now almost fully mature, except for the lungs, and the skin is pink instead of red. Fingernails reach the ends of fingers, but toenails are not yet fully grown. As your uterus prepares for labor, you may be feeling more Braxton Hicks contractions.
Well.. I can guarantee that she is at least in a semi transverse position, if not full breech. I was just about to make a post yesterday about how super active and squirmy she has been in there the past couple days! Literally, my belly is moving around like a giant mound of jiggly jello. Hopefully that is her trying to switch into this mysterious head-down position. Or at least it better be after all the inversions I've been doing. It's not easy laying upside down, especially while pregnant.

Hiccups
This child gets the hiccups over 5 times a day. It is super annoying. I wonder if there is a reason or a cause. It would really be nice if she would NOT get the hiccups all the time.

Test Results
Everything is just peachy for now. Test came back negative, meaning that no labor for the next two weeks! I had a urine sample taken this time too and that looked good.
So yay!
So yay!

Not really an update.
Well, I had my appointment today. Am relieved to know that just about everything on my list were things she already did. She said there were no facts about negative reactions to the vitamin K shot and it's better to have it. They do not put the eye drops in the babies eyes unless there is a risk of gonorrhea or chlamydia.
Faye is breech still, when she checked and when she did the internal exam she said that she is really low and breech. My cervix is open about a fingertip, but she said that could and most likely is due to birthing Maddox. My cervix is long and high.
She did the Fetal Fibronectin test and took a urine sample. I do not know when I will get the results of either back. She was going to tell me when I could expect the results of the FF test, but didn't finish, stating that she wasn't sure because the hospital got new computer systems and that always makes things screwy.
Everything went well, so I guess I'll just update when I get those results back.
Faye is barring down again into my pelvis and causing a lot of hip and buttocks pains. Hopefully that means nothing though.

Pain and Pressure
This past week or so I've felt increasingly miserable. I don't remember ever getting to a point in my pregnancy with Maddox where I felt like I was just physically done, but I have! (Refer to earlier post).
Over the weekend, it's gotten worse. I have a horrible time getting up and down. Rolling over in bed is a HUGE chore and really hurts. I waddle when I wake and am completely exhausted going up the stairs. At Walmart today (getting fabric for Faye's blanket), I was holding my belly from the underside as I went through the aisle. I feel a TON of pressure in my pelvis and the lower part of my abdomen when I walk. The more I walk, the worse it gets. She feels like she is pressing down harder and harder. When I go to the bathroom, I feel similar, like she is pressing down in my pelvis and sometimes even in my birth canal.
I also have hip & hip joint pain, sciatica and similar pain throughout my entire lower back/buttocks area. Pretty much everything from my lower back/hips down to my hip/thigh joints is just miserable. I feel like my legs are going to fall off and that I am carrying a twelve pound bowling ball in a flour sack around my lower waist.
Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment. I'll be 31 weeks & 6 days, but it's my 32 Week appointment. I'll be updating tomorrow than, but I am really excited for this appointment. I don't enjoy internal exams, by ANY stretch of the imagination, but I am hoping to find out that my cervix is still high and thick and she will also be doing a test that will determine my risk for delivering in the next 2 weeks (and hopefully that comes up negative - meaning NO risk).

Hmmm...
I completely forgot to post about the wraps that I "made".
After my post on March 10th about baby wearing, I made Clayton bring me over to Joanne Etc and found some fabric. I "made" a woven wrap (aka bought a piece of fabric and had Clayton's grandma serge the ends) - which is what I am wearing Maddox in. It is a non-stretchy woven cotton fabric that is good for heavier infants and older children. I "made" 2 "Moby" wraps (aka bought a piece of jersey knit fabric and cut it in half lengthwise, so that I have two 5 yard long, 25in wide "wraps"). A Moby wrap (which is actually a brand for "stretchy wrap") is a stretchy (but not too stretchy) jersey knit/t-shirt type cotton. It is really flexible and soft - great for newborns and small infants and can be used up to 15-25lbs.
Woven wraps are usually around $100 for one and the Moby Wrap is $40. I made all three for under $40!
This was our first attempt at wrapping, so it doesn't look that great (and the poor boy was having a bad eye allergy day), we've been occasionally working on it for fun, and it's not so easy to manuveur it with this giant belly in my way and having to tie it up A LOT higher than normal, not to mention trying to wrap for the very first time with a 30lb kid LOL I have him stand on the couch and I'll put the wrap on his back, then I sit down on the couch, have him jump on and then will have him hang on while I stand up and lean forward to tie it. It works pretty good and I don't have to pick him up at all.

I tried out the stretch wrap and that was a little difficult to get it to feel comfortable on my skin because my belly is so big and it doesn't really position right. I put it on and put my brother in law's cat in there. She's such a good sport about stuff! She worked really nicely in a cradle type hold!
Anyways, I'm really excited to start carrying the little beany baby. I have one all rolled up and in a bag to bring to the hospital to try right away LOL

Still Breech
I've been wondering for about a week or so how she has been positioned. As I was watching the movie The Business of Being Born at the end of March, I did an inversion for about 20 seconds and about a half hour later (or so) when I was trying to get into bed, I felt that her head was lower (more to the right side) than normal and tried the inversion for another minute. Ever since that point, she has been turning from Breech to Transverse. I have still been feeling the feet in my pelvis, but was wondering, because I also started feeling something up to the left of my belly button AND her head wasn't consistently up in my right rib, if she had turned head down. I read something today about telling if your baby is breech, how it will feel in your pelvis, how to dig your finger tips into the bottom of your belly without hurting yourself and found that she really hasn't turned head down at all. I also found out that you cannot really move a babies head when you push on it. I had been wondering, even though the bulge felt the same as before, if maybe it was her butt now and I was just not able to tell, but when I push on it, I cannot get it to move. So I am pretty convinced that she isn't going head down at this point. Maybe I will try the inversion some more and see if there are any other techniques that I can try to get her to flip.
