Big success!
So the kitchen is a huge success! Everytime he walks by it, he gets really excited and has to go cut a fruit or veggie....

Happy Birthday to You!
Today is Maddox's 2nd birthday! We spent the day at Auntie Amy's house so that Maddox could play with his cousins. It was a good day. Before heading to grandma's, we went over to walmart and Auntie bought him Gordon for his Take Along train set, some Thomas stickers, some m&m's, and all in a Cars bag.
At home Maddox got to open up his present from Grandma Diane (a kitchen) and his present from Clayton and I (some pots and pans set and a basket of wooden food). He absolutely loved it all! Cutting the wooden fruits and veggies in half with his wooden knife was alot of fun! And then he topped the day off by watching Star Wars, while laying on the couch with day, until he passed out around 10pm!
On Saturday is his birthday party. It is just going to be family. No friends. We'll have fruits, veggies, cake & ice cream. Hopefully it will be a good time!

Maddie Cuteness!
Just a random picture of Maddox
Yesterday, Maddox and I took the bus to Daddies work to have lunch!
Man does that jacket get hot on the bus!
We ate our sandwiches (and Maddox made sure, but pushing them off, that Dad didn't put his elbows on the table)
And then we played Football!
we took a break to look at something Dad made on the computer
and then we played more Football.. with Mike
and then again with daddy!

Today we had our Thanksgiving Feast (of Apple Sauce and CinnaStix) at School...
Before we had our feast, all of the kids came into our (the parents) room to give us the Turkey's that they made us and bring us back to their (the kids) classroom. Here is the Turkey that Maddox made me!
I honestly don't think I've ever seen anything cuter than 8 two year olds walking into a classroom by themselves carrying Turkeys......

Random Pictures
Maddox sleeps with us some mornings and on this morning he slept til about 9am so I was able to get out of bed and get a picture of him in MY spot. He sleeps inbetween Clayton and myself, but he always wiggles his little body into my spot and I have to hang at the edge of the bed, doing a little balancing act!
Here is just a random picture of Maddox being cute. He's good at that!
Maddox and I play in the garage often, when it is cold outside. Here he is playing "Hockey" with a tennis ball and broom!
This is what Maddox looks like when he plays the air guitar!
Here is Maddox standing on my bed, with his shoes on.. the wrong feet, doing the itsy bitsy spider when he is SUPPOSED to be going to bed!

Maddox Update/Brag
I am such a slacker.. Here are some new things from the past month or so...
Maddox has been going through that big burst of words that everyone talks about. He says butterfly, Football (in terms of the game AND the ball), ball, two, a,b, c, apple, puppy, hmm.. what else.. I can't remember everything, but he also will repeat almost any word that you say to him or ask him to repeat! It's a lot of fun!
He also does really well with commands and such. I can know say things like "Maddox,I am going to go upstairs to get you something to drink, stay here and I will be right back" and he will sit and wait patiently for me. Also, it helps him when we are out somewhere or at someone else's house and I have to use the bathroom or something like that. He usually would follow me and bawl his eyes out, but now if I tell him exactly what I am doing and that I will be right back, he doesn't cry at all.

Picture's from the Children's Museum
Maddox and I rode the bus to the Children's Museum yesterday. We had SO much fun and played for 3.5 hours!! Here are some pictures :)

In the Korean kitchen, they have a conveyor belt type thing to bus the dirty dishes in to the sink area. Maddox loves to turn the wheel that makes it go

I think his favorite thing in the entire museum was the boat racing table. He raced over and over again and mastered the word Boat!

and for the first time ever, he actually went through all the ant tunnels!!
After we played, we went to Subway. We were 2 floors up and Maddox liked to look out the window. He also thought it was pretty fun to try to eat without using his hands!
