Happy Halloween!

I know that it isn't until tomorrow, but we celebrated yesterday! We carved pumpkins and then we went to Como Park Zoo: Zoo Boo. Carving pumpkins was great! Mom and Dad had a bowl they were throwing all the pumpkin guts into and everytime they'd throw something in there, I would take it right out and fling it around everywhere! I was having alot of fun. Mom opened the big pumpkin, cleaned it out and put me inside of it. I was a little too big to sit down in it, so she carved me some leg holes! Daddies pumpkin rotted while it was waiting to be carved, so he got to carve mommies pumpkin!

We went to the Zoo Boo Aunty Amy, Uncle Kerry, Dante, Ariana, Kaden, and Grandma's boyfriend's son, Jordan. It was really jam packed. Mom is glad that we went, but she doesn't think that we'll go back to it again. Aunty Amy said that it was a little different than the time they went. We got lots of stuff in our bags and I got to have a tea party with Alice and some of her friends.

Pine Tree Apple Orchard and Misc Pictures

Mom, Dad, and I went to the Apple Orchard yesterday to pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. After we picked our pumpkins we went and had a piece of Apple Pie (Ala Mode for mom and I) and dad had a cup of cold cider with his. We bought a strawberry rhubarb pie too. I cannot eat that though. Mom says it is the best pie in the whole world. So go buy a Pre-Prepared, frozen, non-cooked Strawberry Rhubarb pie from the store at Pine Tree Apple Orchard, bring it home and bake it. It is awesome (says mom). Dad went out and found a tall skinny pumpkin for mom and a short fat pumpkin for himself while mom and I stood guard of the very large, fat, round pumpkin that mom had picked out for me. It weighs about 10lbs more than me. Mom is hoping that when she empties it, she will be able to fit me inside of it. You'll get to see pictures later if it works. The pumpkins are outside on the front steps waiting to be carved. We're waiting closer to halloween so they don't spoil.

After that we went to Northwestern Bookstores to try and find something for Kaden (no luck) and then to Target. Nothing too interesting. I ate 2/3 cup of Gerber Graduates Turkey Stew for lunch. I ate ALL but 2.5 pieces of chicken and carrot pasta pick-ups. Mom was real proud of me yesterday. She said I did a great job eatting my food.

Now for the miscellaneous pictures!

October 8th, 2005 (after hitting my nose on the footboard of mom and dad's bed) Here I am giving Dad advice on how to play World of Warcraft.

Walking!

I am getting so good at walking! Today mom and I went to my ECFE class and I walked to one of my teachers to play with a toy. I had to have taken 10 steps. I have been walking lots today and several times have taken over 6 steps! Maybe tomorrow I'll come on and tell you that I am officially walking now! hehe!

I'm a walkin' teethin' fool!

There have been bumps in my gums for more than a week and I've been a super crabby pants to prove they are teeth. Nothing has come through yet and we are getting very frustrated. I don't like to eat what I am supposed to. I'd rather eat cheerios, cookies, and crackers. I don't like to sleep, at night or for naps. In fact, I woke up so many times last night that mom brought me out and let me watch "The Replacements" with her. Mission Accomplished! Mom is sick, and because I am teething, she cannot tell if i am sick too or not. I cannot tell either. I just know that I don't feel good. But regardless of how I have been feeling, I've managed to start walking a little. I can take up to 6-7 steps at a time. It is really fun! I cannot turn though and that is really frustrating. Sometimes, when I am playing with something, I just want to turn around and walk away to something else. I just cannot figure out how to turn around without falling down though.

This is me laying with mom, not sleeping, at 10PM last night watching the movie...

She thinks I'm a little stinker, but she loves me anyways.

I've got a new bedroom. It is dad's old office. They painted it blue for me and put all my stuff in there. It's really fun to play in. I can come visit mom when she is taking a shower (i don't have to be sleeping!), it is really dark at night so I can sleep good, and there is a door so it blocks out a lot of noise. The only bad thing is that I've been bitten by spiders four times already. We are going to get the room exterminated and the outside sprayed too. Hopefully that will get rid of the spiders because I really don't want to give up my new room.

October 2nd, Mom was working on my new room and cleaning my sheets. I couldn't go to sleep in my crib because my sheets were still in the dryer (including my one and only mattress protector). I got so tired I fell asleep on dad's lap while watching tv.

Grandma Diane bought me a winter jacket and snow pants for my birthday last Sunday. The weather is getting so cold that I've had to wear my jacket a few times already. Mom and I go on walks during the day and she had to bundle me up so much. I looked like a marshmallow and i could hardly move anything! I still had a good time though! We went to Caribou Coffee and I got to take my jacket off for a little bit, sit down and eat some cheerios. And then I got to play with the toys with a 2 year old boy.
