And now I just realized...
We didn't post any birthday pictures or "first snow" (of the year, that is) pictures.
Maddox's party was on the 1st of December. It snowed like crazy. All my family made it, but only one person (besides his grandparents that were staying with us) made it. So it was pretty small, but it went well. We had quite a bit of Cake left over...
So, first it snowed
Then there was an incident... (LOL)
After the bandage came off, later that night
Then there was presents
And then there was CAKE! (the I and R got smooched on the way home from the store)
The after party fun...
There was another incident.. with the door. See forehead, left side on picture (actually his right side though.. )
And then Mr. Anti-Bedtime
The next day was fun in the snow day. Maddox had REALLY been looking forward to the snow and playing in it!

Discomfort
I think this kid is trying to escape out my belly button. S/he is constantly putting a ton of pressure on the very top of my uterus. I don't know what the heck s/he is doing in there, but I'd like it to STOP! I've been very crampy for the past two days as well. I really hope it's nothing. I don't remember being this uncomfortable with Maddox.

Maddox has been completely diaperless for 3 days (almost).
Thursday, he was naked half the day, in undies for part of the day, and in undies AND clothes for the rest of the day. He took a nap in undies, went to school in his undies, and went to bed in his undies. He woke up Friday morning at 7:20am, wet, but was dry just prior to waking up, so I think he went while he was still trying to fully wake up. Other wise, he was completely dry all day.
Friday, he wore undies for most of the day. We went to Auntie Amy's house. He rode in the car with undies and played in undies. He was too excited and forgot and didn't care that he was wearing undies and clothes and he pee'd in his clothes. I took them off and he ran around in just a shirt for awhile. We put undies on him around 3:30pm-ish because he wanted to run out in the hall. He came running out from the bedroom having to go potty and POOPED and pee'd on the potty. He went pee one more time after that on the potty. He wore undies and clothes home and stay in those until around 7:30pm. He was half asleep on the couch and pee'd in those and was quite upset. We were leaving to drive down to Mankato, so I put him in a diaper and his pajama's. He went from a little after 8pm-7am without peeing in his diaper. He fell asleep in the car around 9pm and aside from waking for a few minutes a couple times after we arrived in Mankato, he slept til morning.
I changed him on Saturday morning and he was dry. I put a diaper on him to go eat breakfast in the hotel breakfast area. While we were eating, he stood up and grabbed himself and said "oh no! oh on!" I reminded him of the diaper and he went. I don't think he would have been able to hold it if he hadn't of had a diaper on. He went potty in the hotel room once. We got dressed and left to go to Uncle Lewis' graduation ceremony and Maddox pee'd in the bathroom at the stadium twice. We had brunch, somewhere in the building on campus and Maddox used that bathroom once. We went to Uncle Lewis' apartment and he had to go so bad he couldn't hold it. Shortly after that he used Uncle's bathroom. We left around 1:30pm and Maddox slept in the car from the time we left til we got home a little before 3pm. He didn't wet and he didn't use the potty until around 4pm. I think we might go ahead and let him try sleeping over night in his undies. I think after peeing in bed and the *almost* accident while eating breakfast, he's figured things out.

Out and About!
As you heard, Maddox stayed dry during naptime. I had to make him go at about 6:15pm because he insisted on going to SCHOOL with his underwear on. He stayed dry there as well and didn't have to go while we were out. I don't know that he would have actually used the "big" potty. (They not big... they are all only about 1-1.5 feet tall LOL). He slept in his undies last night too and I figured he would be wet. He DID wake up wet at 7:20am, but at 5am he was still dry. I think he pee'd after he woke up, before he was all the way awake. I had debated bringing him to the potty at 5am, but I didn't and I think I should have. Oh well. If he wants to try again, we'll just go with the flow.

Napping in undies
When Maddox and I hopped in bed to read some books, I grapped a diaper and asked him to lay down. He told me No and that he was wearing underwear already! He said "No Diapey!" I told him that he might pee while he is sleeping and he shook his head LOL
It had been awhile since he went potty last. He stopped drinking about an hour before we went downstairs (about a half hour before the accident - which was an enormous amount of pee that came out). When we finished books, I had him sit on the potty and he went as much as he could.
Hopefully he'll wake up dry. If he doesn't, I hope he's not too upset about the mess. I'd say he's been sleeping for about 30 minutes now, so I think I'll wake him up right at 5pm and have him sit on the potty. We need time to wake up and get ready for school tonight anyways. AND I don't want him sleeping to late into the evening. (Normally he sleeps from 12-2/3, or 1-3/4).

a little accident
Maddox had a little accident while eating today. He started to panic and I asked him if he had to go potty. I unwrapped his blanket and the poor little guy hard already started to go a little. He kept trying to hold it and it was squeeze out a little at a time. He had to go on his blanket and now it is in the wash. I feel bad for him because he was so upset by it. Luckily, he found a penny on the way to the laundry room and was extremely happy about that. So now he's running and hopping around the living room happily.
Rethinking Baby Names
I don't think about it every day, but definitely often. Awhile ago I decided that I really didn't like the name Jackson. I still love the name Jack though. But now that I am thinking about it, I don't know that it would be the *right* name for a little boy of mine. I am VERY stuck on the name Dima and sad that I don't think Clayton would ever agree to it. So this is the updated list for boys. Connor I've taken off because, even though I do love the name, like Jack, I just don't think it is right for a boy of mine. Especially if he is anything like Maddox. He'll need a much spunkier name.

I'm not giving my child a Hebrew, Arabic, African, etc name. Nothing against those names, but a blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy named Abdulrahman, just doesn't seem right. I do have to admit that I like Japanese names though. There is just something so charming about names like Ashitaka, Akihiro, Fujiko, Agito, Keiichi, etc.. I could go on. Seriously.. I'm whacky!

Movement?
Last night I felt a little jab where the baby is. I can feel the baby move around and s/he likes to swim up high a lot, but movement of limbs I haven't til last night. I haven't felt anything else since than, but I am pretty sure that it was the baby last night. It definitely wasn't bloating.
It *seems* like M/S is starting to lift. I still feel pretty crummy when I take my vitamin and I've had a headache for two days. I had a headache for several days the week before last too.
I'm hoping that I won't have to go in at all next week for Jury Duty, but if I do, I hope I don't feel too terrible. I really don't mind doing it, I'm just really upset about the possibility of having to spend A LOT of money, that we don't have, on unnecessary gas. There are SO many other people that could do this a whole lot easier than I could.

Little Booger!
This little baby does not like to be cramped, at all! S/he is always pushing up as far as she can if I am sitting, crouched, or curled up. Last night I found out that s/he gets pretty mad when my bladder is full. S/he was pushing on it so hard I almost didn't make it to the bathroom. And with no warning! I had to stop getting Maddox ready for bed because it came out of nowhere!

Monster Jam!
Maddox, Clayton, and I went with Aunty Amy, Uncle Kerry, Dante, Ana, and Kaden to the Monster Truck show last night. My sister and I brought the two little ones at around 3:30PM to go to the pit party and meet some drivers and look at all the trucks up close. Kaden got Superman's signature and Scarlet Bandit's too and got his picture taken with both of them. Maddox had his picture taken with Superman, but I lifted up both boys and Aunty Amy said Maddox hid his face LOL
