Heather & Noah

Our friends Heather and Noah came over today! I was a bit scared and shy at first, but I warmed up after awhile. We hung out and chatted, took a nap, and then went to pick up mom's purse (got a hold of the bus company and they had it!!!) and then Heather and Noah treated us to the Olive Garden. That was VERY nice of them.

Mom forgot to take pictures though.. so this entry does not have any. Sorry! =(

What A Day!

Got back from the Police station just a little bit ago. Mom and I were taking the bus to Grandma Mary's house.

We had to take 4 different buses, but we only got to ride one.

Hi Mom!


When we got off the first bus to catch our next transfer, mom forgot that she had taken her purse off. So we got off the bus and mom left it on the seat on the bus. It had our bus transfer, all the money we had, and a whole bunch of other stuff that mom needed. So we were stuck with no phone, no money, and no where to go.. or so we thought! Right as mom looked across the street, there was the New Hope Police Station! Hooray! We were there for quite awhile. Mom had to call dad's cell phone and leave him a message for him to call his mom at work to see if she could pick us up at the Police station. And since we didn't know the call back number, we were just praying that someone would show up eventually. The police couldn't get a hold of the bus company, so they gave Mom the number to call and said she had to get a hold of them on her own, but they still took down a report.

And then a half hour later Grandma Diane showed up to bring us home!

French Regional Beach

Dad took Mom and Me to the beach yesterday. It was tons of fun. It was so hot out that the water was kind of warm. The beach is really shallow so I could walk on the ground. Mom sat down with me on her lap, closer to shore, so that dad could take some pictures.





We didn't stay for long. Mom didn't want me to be in the sun for very long. So we walked across the biking/walking trail to the grass/picnic area and got dressed. My towel tasted very good!





I hope we can go again soon! Mom is trying to talk my Auntie into bringing my cousins to the beach!

Happy Father's Day AND Birthday Daddy!

Today was my daddy's first fathers day! It was also his 24th birthday as well! He had to go to work from 6am-4pm, but I hope he had a good day anyways.

Mom and I went to Auntie Amy's house at 10:30am. I slept for a little bit, but mom's says not nearly long enough. We walked over to Grandpa David's (that's across the street from Amy's house) for a barbecue and I was a big crab for the first 2 hours. I laid in my stroller for a little bit and talked to myself. And Kaden joined me for a few minutes.



Then Grandma Mary and George came to show of George's new car and then Grandma put me to sleep. I was much happier when I woke up.. and I had a biscuit!



After the Barbecue we went back to Auntie's house and hung out there for a little bit. I went to bed in her bed and slept for around an hour.. maybe even longer. When I woke up Mom gave me a Wolverine popsicle at Auntie's request!







It was so good I was even reaching for it!



Halfway down I started to get chunks off. It was really cold and I didn't like them sitting in my mouth. I kept wanting more but would cry every time I got a chunk in my mouth so mom cut me off.

That was ok though because I got all cleaned up and Kaden let me wear "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" outfit that he doesn't fit into yet.

Daddy came and got Mom and Me shorty after that and we went home. I fell asleep in the car. Around 6:45pm everybody left to go out to eat at the Sunshine Factory for Daddies birthday. That is everybody but me and my Great Auntie Dawn. She babysat me and we had lots of fun!

Yay For Bathtime!

Tonight mom let me sit in my infant/toddler bath in the sitting position. I am always trying to sit up when she has me laying down and she thought it would be fun. Well! It was a ton of fun! I got to play with my rubber duckies! I LOVE to sit up! And splashing in the water was great! The only bad thing was that my duckies kept floating away from me....





Early today mom and I hung out, outside again!



This time she brought out my Papasan and I sat in there. I kept trying to grab the grass and fell out of the chair twice! When I looked up at mom, she was just laughing at me! How rude!





I got over it though.. and started going for the grass again! And then we hugged... aren't we cute?!

Hanging Out, Outside!

Mom and I went for a walk to Hidden Valley Park. We sat under the tree for awhile and watched the Orioles. We walked home and I fell asleep. I don't know what mom did after that, but I woke up, still in my stroller, at the front door. After putting the stroller away, we hung out in the back yard for awhile. It was alot of fun. I sat almost the entire time. I only fell over 3 times!

On The Road.. BUS!

I've been on the bus before. But I don't really think it counts. A few times when I was really little mom put me in this thing called a sling. I slept the entire time and never even saw the bus. The trips were also only a few minutes long to the Mall in Roseville. BUT TODAY... I rode the bus from New Hope to Downtown Minneapolis to South East Minneapolis! We took two busses.





The first bus I fell asleep in just a few minutes after getting on. I woke up in Downtown Minneapolis. Then we got on the other bus and I stayed awake the whole time. We were going to Great Grandma Perko's house. From my house in New Hope, to her house in SE MPLS it was a total of 90 minutes. It was totally worth it though! I got to play with a puppy!!!





He was really nice! He chewed on and licked my fingers and hands just like I do! He was soft and fluffy! And I didn't even cry when he barked at me. He only barked because he wanted to play though! Great Grandma has another dog. He is bigger and all white. I played and yelled at him. He just looked at me funny and walked away.

I hope I can do all that again sometime!

Mom, Dad, and I went for a walk this evening. It was really nice. And very relaxing.

I just can't figure out how to get on my back again....

So here I am throwing a fit because I rolled onto my belly and I cannot get onto my back again to play with my toys..

New Hope

It has been a little hectic around here lately. As you know, my cousin Kaden was born on the 25th. On the 27th, we worked like crazy getting things packed up. On the 28th, we moved from our old house in Columbia Heights to our new house in New Hope. My kitty was super scared and didn't come out to eat until almot midnight. I wasn't in such a great mood either. It has taken me a week and a half to get comfortable enough to take decent naps during the day. I still sleep alot better when mom naps with me. So far we've gone on 3 walks. Mom & I went up to Winnetka & 36th then back home. Mom, Dad, and I went to Hidden Valley Park the other evening and then yesterday evening, we just walked around a few local streets. It has been hot and rainy, but the basement here is very cold. We go from upstairs to downstairs a million times a day to stay comfortable.

Anyways, more about me. I've been trying lots of fruits and veggies lately. Bananas, Apples, Pears, Avocados, Prunes, Peas, Carrots, Green Beans, Squash, Sweet Potatoes. Most of them are good. Some of them are not so good.

June 3rd was my 6 Month well baby check up. I had 3 shots. They were horrible. I weighed 17 lb 9½ oz and am 26½ inches tall. Everything was at the 50th percentile. The doc was happy because I was staying at the 25th before. I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing except that I can only roll in one direction. But they say some babies don't even roll at all until after they start to crawl.

June 5th I got my 6 Month pictures taken. I sat up for the pictures and held my head up while laying on my belly. There were too many interesting things going on to grab my toes though. I have proofs, but the real pictures don't come back til June 30th. Kaden was supposed to get his picture done too, but my Aunty Amy was really sick and she couldn't bring him. She had to go to Urgent Care and was in the room for 2 hours. They figured out what was wrong though and now she is getting better. I was really sad that my Aunty wasn't feeling well.

I will take these down and put up the real ones when I get them.





I think it's time for Mom and Me to go for a walk!
