Como Zoo and Kaden's 1st Birthday!!

We left around 9am to go to Como Zoo. Luckily it takes around 30 minutes to get there because they don't open til 10am! Maddox had ALOT of fun and he was PO'd when we brought him to the car to leave! We went to the conservatory too and saw all the gardens. I'm pretty sure it was my first time ever going to the conservatory.

and then we headed towards the Large Cats.

We saw all the primates, lion, tiger, snow leopard, cougar, ostrich, zebras, giraffe, bison, sea lions, cute little duckling in the sea lions pool, polar bears..... is that it? And then we went to the conservatory.

A beautiful 28 year old japanese maple bonsai tree.



In the sunken garden, Maddox really liked the Koi in the pond.. apparently the koi really liked him as well because every single one in the pond came right up to him!

A nice guy that was working in the Garden asked if we'd like him to take our picture! Very nice of him!



And Maddox was hot & tired and passed out almost immediately in the car.



This is later in the day, we went to Kaden's bday party! Here is the birthday boy in action!
