15 Month Well-Baby Check Up

I had my check up yesterday. I got 2 shots. 1 in each arm and it was AWFUL! Doc says I'm looking good. I'm doing just about everything that I am supposed to be doing. I don't do alot of pointing at body parts, rather knock blocks down than stack them up, but I'm pretty much normal. I'm 30.75 inches tall and 23lbs 1 oz. 47 cm head.. what is that in inches? I liked my new doctor. Hopefully we'll continue to like him!

Another update!

Not a whole lot has happened this month! On Valentine's day, mom and I went to our ECFE class. I made dad a Valentine! I got a Valentine from Luie & Uncle Jewlis (haha, that's what mom calls them!) and I got one from Grandma Diane & Grandpa Kirby too! ECFE class has been really fun. We get a snack and we get to do projects sometimes too. Our friend's Erin and Alexander are giving us a ride to and from class too! We didn't go today though because both Alexander and I are sick. I wonder if anyone else was sick...

I got a fat lip last tuesday evening. I tried in the living room while drinking from my sippy cup and it pushed my top tooth into my lip. It went in to the skin and I was bleeding. Mom got some pictures of me, but none of them showed my fat lip... But it was ok after awhile because I got to wear my pretty pearls and stand on the top of a pot!

We had a pretty good weekend! I was sick though, I've been sick since last Tuesday. A really junky, productive cough; green, running snot; real low grade fever. I wake myself up coughing and then it's hard to get back to bed. I haven't been eatting to great either. We went shopping on Saturday to find something for mom to wear to her friends wedding. On Sunday I got to hang out at Aunty Amy's house so that mom and dad could go out to eat with my grandma's, grandpa, and grandma mary's bf, george. It was mom's birthday on Monday. She turned 22. We spent the day at Aunty Amy's house. We went to Old Navy, McDonalds (mom only let me have some fries), and to Sam's Club. Then we went over to Grandma Mary's house. We had cake! Mom would only give me a little frosting. Like 5 little bits of frosting... Kaden got a whole ice cream sandwich. Aunty Amy wasn't too thrilled about Grandma giving that to him!

Mom and I have had a pretty good day today, so far! We played upstairs for awhile. Read a book or two. I got my Wild Baby Animals magazine in the mail yesterday (finally!!) and so we read that. We played, mom chased me. We had a snack and watched Sesame Street. I played with a sheet and then we had lunch! I took a nap and just woke up not too long ago!

Here are some of mom's favorite pictures from today:

Mom has decided I'm going to be Caesar for Halloween!

Moms turn to talk!

So I guess we'll start from January since Maddox was too lazy to write about it in the last two posts... First we had dad's graduation party! He graduated on the 16th of December, but the month was soo busy that the party was pushed into January. Something about his fathers "My Banana's" reel got Maddox quite upset and he threw up his arms and yelled at it over and over again every time it played... I really wish I had gotten that on video! Maddox's Great Grandma and Grandpa Miller came to stay with us for the weekend too. Maddox LOVES his Great Grandpa! He follows him around, copies everything he does (especially coughing), and tries to play with him every chance he can get! His great grandpa is just as fond of him! It is very sweet! We went to church at our Friend's (Heather, John, and Noah) church the next day. It was a lot of fun and Maddox really liked playing with Noah and the other kids in the Nursery. We went to have lunch at Chipotle after that and both Maddox and Noah had some burrito! Our friend [info]momoluvable gave birth to her daughter on the 29th (just after midnight) and that was really exciting! I went to go see them the next day and Maddox stayed home with his dad. We are supposed to be baby sitting Isabella when her mommy goes back to work! I am REALLY looking forward to that! Maddox learned a few things in January: How to splash in the tub and How to sit in chairs and hang out (he has known how to sit in chairs for quite awhile, but not he deliberately gets in them to lay back and relax).

Maddox and I started our ECFE class again. 11-15 month olds now. Three of our friends are back, Max, Wyatt, and Alexander. We have a bunch of new friends now too! There is a 15 month old girl that can say several (more than 20) words and says two word phrases. She can also sing "EI EI O", knows what several different animals are and all the sounds that they make!

Maddox got into a car accident on Friday. He was driving across the living room and was turning into the entry way when he rolled it. He was pinned under it. All the shapes came out of the hood and scattered across the ground and Maddox had a few injuries, but nothing too serious. Later he went back to check out the car, there was no damage, He just had to put all the shapes back into the hood through their designated holes.

Later we made playdough, Maddox thought it would be better just to sit in the bowl instead of putting the ingredients into it...

Now for a few "Personality" photos...

On Saturday, Maddox, Clayton, and I went to the Minnesota's Children's Museum with My sister, her fiance, and 2 of their kids. We had a lot of fun! Maddox had a blast with them!

Ariana was selling Maddox a potato in the restaurant and this little boy came up to the counter and said to Maddox "Would you like anything else with your potato?" He left again and then a few seconds later came back and said "I'm sorry, I don't speak baby language!" It was the funniest thing ever!

Clayton sat Maddox on this giant ant (ew ew ew!) but the picture didn't turn out so great. I got a picture of him standing in front of it though...

The kids also saw the Berenstain Bears too, in person!

New Years Eve - BTW: Happy New Year!

Dec 31st - Dad and Mom took me to the Minnesota Children's Museum! It was so much fun! We went to Jump to Japan, the water table and bubbles at world works, the earth world exhibit and saw the ants and the turtles, went through the snow ball exhibit and to habitot. I really liked the frog pond and lily pads in the habitot area! The ground was covered with a pad that was several inches thick. I walked through the different landscapes, went down a slide, crawled up stairs, and turned a rain maker stick.

After that, we went to Grandma's house. I took a nap while mom and dad went out to eat at Apple Bee's with Aunty Amy, Kerry, Dante, and Ana. We stayed at Grandma Mary's house until after the Ball dropped at Midnight! They even gave me a horn to blow!

Yikes! It's been awhile!

Sunday, December 4th - Mom and I went with grandma and grandpa to Mankato for Uncle Lewis' concert. I wasn't feeling very well though, but nobody found that out until later that evening. I was a good boy through the concert and pretty good when we went out to eat afterwards. The ride home wasn't that great though. The first half was fine and I slept the entire time, but the second half, I was started to feel worse and I was getting really hot. Mom had to take me out of the carseat while we were still driving to take off all of my warm clothing. I was much better after that. I ran a fever til the 10th of December. Mom had been debating whether or not to bring me in to the doc. We had to go in to get my blood drawn on the 9th, so she decided to wait until then. Turns out I had an ear infection. I am constantly playing with my ear anyways, so no one would have known if I didn't have the fever. I had to take antibiotics for 10 days. It tasted very good!

Sunday, December 11th - It was dad's last day of work at Super America! Hurray! We went Christmas Tree shopping that night too. Mom forgot to bring her camera though, but she got pictures of my trying to help grandma water the tree. I tripped and landed with my arm in the cup of water!

Tuesday, December 13th was my last day of school with ECFE. It was the 6-10mo group. I was just turning 10 months when the class started. At the end of January, I get to start the 11-15mo class. I'll be turning 14mo when the class starts.

This is my new hat from Bass Pro Shop that i got for my birthday. It doesn't really have anything to do with school, but the picture of me wearing it was taken on the 13th.

Friday, December 16th - Daddy graduated from college! We went to check out his portfolio show (which he won best in class for), went out to eat at Rock Bottom, and then we attended the graduation ceremony. Pictures were really hard to take of daddy because mommies camera was not cooperating. Julie took me into the hall during the ceremony and played with me because I was bored.

Saturday, December 17th - Ariana had a dance recital at Edison Highschool. They were so cute, but the jerks wouldn't let them dance.

On Christmas Eve, Dad and I went to Maple Maze while mom shopped for some pants. She found 3 pairs for a total of $70 and saved $100 on them! We had a party at our house for Grandma Dianes family. It was fun and I got a few presents.

Christmas morning I got stuff in my stocking and opened up presents at home with mom, dad, uncle lewis and julie, aunt susan and matt, and grandma and grandpa miller. After we were done, we went over to Grandma Mary's house and had Christmas with mom's family. Grandpa Dave was even there! Kaden and I were wearing the same outfit, we looked like twins!

December 26th - Mom put all my old toys into the center of the ottoman and put my new toys on the shelf. I decided I didn't want them to go and I climbed into the ottoman and played.
