I Love my Auntie!

Yesterday Mom and I went over to Auntie Amy's house! Going over to her house is always so much fun. I get to eat Keebler Club Crackers and play with the kitties. I like to talk to my cousin Kaden and try to grab his face too. And Dante and Ana are always so nice to me and help me play with toys. I got to see Grandpa Sorsoleil too and that was a whole lot of fun! He helped me walk in the grass and he gave me hugs and kisses and played with me.

Here I am standing all by myself, playing with Kaden's toys

Did you see my cute new jeans. I got those for my professional pictures. They are so soft and warm. They are lined with gray cotton on the inside. I wear them often now. I really like them!

9 Month Photo's!

I got my picture taken today at JC Penney's Portrait Studio. Mommy and Daddy said I did such a good job. They couldn't have asked for more, expect more money to buy the rest of the pictures! Aunt Amy told mom about "Smiles by Wires", the studio sends you an email so that you can get ALL of the pictures that they took at home. Mom is going to check into that. It is $4.99 and she said all the pictures were so cute it is worth it to pay the $5 o have all of them.

Anyways, here are the two poses that mom & dad choose.

He's a Champ!

As of August 10th, 2005, I could pull myself up onto furniture. As of today, I make it look like I'm not even trying! I whiz across the floor on my hands an knee's, making it from one room to the next in no time. And I can whiz across furniture too. Two days ago I even let go of the couch and took two steps. I landed on my face after that, but mom was so proud of me!

Both times I've gone down for a nap today, mom lets me hang out in my crib for awhile after wards and I talk to myself, blow raspberries, and jabber all while walking around the side's of my crib.

Another thing that mom thinks is pretty funny is that I sit up in my sleep. Or at least that's what she tells me. She said "and then as soon as I put your nuke back in your mouth, you fall flat on your face." But how am I supposed to know if this REALLY happened, I was sleeping. And she has no pictures to prove it either. Apparently I've done it several times now. She was afraid I was going to hit my head on the side of the crib one day when I fall over. Aunty Amy reassured her that I wouldn't get seriously hurt. The most that would happen is that I would wake up crying. And hopefully that is all that will happen.

Mom says I am a weird baby. What do you think?

Happy Birthday Uncle Eric!

Yesterday was my Uncle Eric's (mom's brother) 25th Birthday. It was also the night of the Fireworks at Stockyard Days. Grandma Diane took mom and me to the farmers market in the morning, then we went to Rosedale and found mom a pair of shoes for a dress for Aunty Susan's wedding. Then we stopped at Linen's N Things and Grandma ran in there and then we stopped at Cub Foods and mom ran in there. Then grandma Diane dropped mom and me off at Grandma Mary's house. Grandma Mary, George, Sarah, and Uncle Eric were just pulling in the parking lot. They went out to breakfast. Mom and I hung out at Grandma's house for quite a while. Aunty Amy came over and brought my cousins with too. We had a lot of fun. After a long time at Grandma Mary's house, we left to go to the Carnival at Long Lake Park. It was Stockyard Days weekend. We walked around, had good stuff to eat, bought a pretty dress for Ariana, picked Ducks, rode ponies, watched Uncle Eric and George get drunk, and then we watched the fireworks. Daddy came when the fireworks were almost over and then we all went home.

I won a frog because I picked three rubber ducks with the number 1 on the bottom of it. Grandma got me a pretty blinking necklace too. It is so big I could use it as a hoola hoop. It is so cool and blinky though!

New Brighton Stockyard Days Parade

This was my second parade, but it is the first one that I actually enjoyed and paid attention. Mom also didn't get to take a picture of me at the first one. I was quite grumpy and she had to stand and hold me the whole time. Plus I cried when the fire trucks sounded their horns and the police cars sounded their sirons. But not this time! I had McDonald's short bread cookies, a tootsie roll (thanks grandma!), I was volconized and then crowned king. It was a great time...

Ducky Ducky!

I love bathtime. I love to play with my ducks. I love to eat my ducks. And the coolest thing - I do not have to sit in my baby bath anymore! I bruised my back so until I start trying to stand up and be reckless in the tub, mom and dad are going to hold off on buying me a toddler seat for the tub.

I've also figured out how to put bubbles on the side of the bathtub!
