So I guess we'll start from January since Maddox was too lazy to write about it in the last two posts... First we had dad's graduation party! He graduated on the 16th of December, but the month was soo busy that the party was pushed into January. Something about his fathers "My Banana's" reel got Maddox quite upset and he threw up his arms and yelled at it over and over again every time it played... I really wish I had gotten that on video! Maddox's Great Grandma and Grandpa Miller came to stay with us for the weekend too. Maddox LOVES his Great Grandpa! He follows him around, copies everything he does (especially coughing), and tries to play with him every chance he can get! His great grandpa is just as fond of him! It is very sweet! We went to church at our Friend's (Heather, John, and Noah) church the next day. It was a lot of fun and Maddox really liked playing with Noah and the other kids in the Nursery. We went to have lunch at Chipotle after that and both Maddox and Noah had some burrito! Our friend
momoluvable gave birth to her daughter on the 29th (just after midnight) and that was really exciting! I went to go see them the next day and Maddox stayed home with his dad. We are supposed to be baby sitting Isabella when her mommy goes back to work! I am REALLY looking forward to that! Maddox learned a few things in January: How to splash in the tub and How to sit in chairs and hang out (he has known how to sit in chairs for quite awhile, but not he deliberately gets in them to lay back and relax).
Maddox and I started our ECFE class again. 11-15 month olds now. Three of our friends are back, Max, Wyatt, and Alexander. We have a bunch of new friends now too! There is a 15 month old girl that can say several (more than 20) words and says two word phrases. She can also sing "EI EI O", knows what several different animals are and all the sounds that they make!
Maddox got into a car accident on Friday. He was driving across the living room and was turning into the entry way when he rolled it. He was pinned under it. All the shapes came out of the hood and scattered across the ground and Maddox had a few injuries, but nothing too serious. Later he went back to check out the car, there was no damage, He just had to put all the shapes back into the hood through their designated holes.
Long scrape on Maddox's side
Spinning his wheels to make sure all is good with his car
Later we made playdough, Maddox thought it would be better just to sit in the bowl instead of putting the ingredients into it...
Now for a few "Personality" photos...
Maddox not getting his way... I really wish this photo would have came out clearer
Maddox trying to play it off innocent
"Maddox, Don't you touch those books!"
"You mean THIS book mom?!"
On Saturday, Maddox, Clayton, and I went to the Minnesota's Children's Museum with My sister, her fiance, and 2 of their kids. We had a lot of fun! Maddox had a blast with them!
Ariana was selling Maddox a potato in the restaurant and this little boy came up to the counter and said to Maddox "Would you like anything else with your potato?" He left again and then a few seconds later came back and said "I'm sorry, I don't speak baby language!" It was the funniest thing ever!

Clayton sat Maddox on this giant ant (ew ew ew!) but the picture didn't turn out so great. I got a picture of him standing in front of it though...

The kids also saw the Berenstain Bears too, in person!
