Graduation Party

Grandma and Grandpa Miller went to a Gradutation party in Lindstrom, MN and Maddox, Clayton and I went with. Maddox really liked it up there. He loved the lake. And there was a dog. We brought Maddox on the pontoon and he really liked that!

Grandma and Maddox

Pictures: June 2nd

This was a good day! Maddox brought to me a beautiful engagement ring and Clayton purposed! So we are now engaged!! And the wedding is set for May 5th, 2007! Aren't you excited!!

And then we met with Aunty Amy and the kids and went to the park! Maddox played very nicely with his cousins and he even leaned in to take Kaden by the hand!

+ 16th: Went to grandma Mary's house. Here is Maddox playing on the playground, still in his PJ's!

+ 18th: Totally random picture. That's all.

Pictures: June 1st

This is Kaden. I'm just throwing this in here because he is so darn cute!

Apparently (according to my camera's internal clock), we went to grandma mary's and swam, painted at home, and hung out on the patio all in one day! We don't usually paint that late in the day..... but maybe?!

And this is what happens when you show mom your eyes while you are painting!

Seriously Maddox! Nobody is going to steal your toys if you carry them one at a time.

On Memorial Day, Maddox, Clayton, and I went to our Playgroup. Maddox and I go every Monday, but since Clayton was home due to the Holiday, he got to join us! Maddox loves playing with his friends. He even has started to share with him. He's taken a likely to Riley lately. I understand though, he is a pretty cool dude!

Maddox trying to share his drink with Riley (or maybe this is a trade for the ball?!)

Wyatt, Maddox, and Max swarming around Melissa (Wyatt's mommy), begging for snacks!

Later in the evening, the three of us went over to Jess and Dans house for Dinner. Maddox sat down and started to play with Autumn immediately.. not very Maddox-ish! He really enjoyed following her around and mimicking her. She really liked having him follow her around!

Autumn's teaching Maddox how to draw on the screen with chalk!

Sunday of Memorial Weekend, Grandma Diane and Grandpa Kirby had family over for a BBQ. Maddox had a REAL good time playing with Sam. Greatgrandpa Jahnke was also able to hold him.... as long as I was stuffing his face with cake! He gave out lots of dirty looks and lots of happy looks - overall, mostly happy!

They are sticking helicopters inbetween their toes LOL

Uhhh?! He just decided that he wanted to climb in the pool and lay down. I don't know.

Como Zoo and Kaden's 1st Birthday!!

We left around 9am to go to Como Zoo. Luckily it takes around 30 minutes to get there because they don't open til 10am! Maddox had ALOT of fun and he was PO'd when we brought him to the car to leave! We went to the conservatory too and saw all the gardens. I'm pretty sure it was my first time ever going to the conservatory.

Maddox and Daddy walking to the Zoo entrance! I LOVE pictures like this.. they are so cute!

The first animals that we saw:

and then we headed towards the Large Cats.

What does the Tiger say?

RARRRRRRR!!!

We saw all the primates, lion, tiger, snow leopard, cougar, ostrich, zebras, giraffe, bison, sea lions, cute little duckling in the sea lions pool, polar bears..... is that it? And then we went to the conservatory.

A beautiful 28 year old japanese maple bonsai tree.

In the sunken garden, Maddox really liked the Koi in the pond.. apparently the koi really liked him as well because every single one in the pond came right up to him!

hehe.. another one! In the North Garden (I think....)

Koi fluttering around on the rocks in the Japanese Garden

Maddox watching the Koi from a bridge over the pond

A nice guy that was working in the Garden asked if we'd like him to take our picture! Very nice of him!

And Maddox was hot & tired and passed out almost immediately in the car.

This is later in the day, we went to Kaden's bday party! Here is the birthday boy in action!

Maddox stole the toy WE bought for Kaden from Kaden!

Kaden, The Graceful Baby, exiting the pool!
