New Tooth

Maddox cut an eye tooth a few days before Christmas (his top left one, I believe) and about a week or so later, he cut his other top eye tooth!

Maddox's poor belly

Maddox has dry skin and every once in awhile (and sometimes for no good reason at all), it flares up. When we put lotion on his skin this day, his skin turned bright red and poor Maddie cried :( A few weeks before this, one of his fingers was so chapped it split open and now (as in 1.16.07), he has a cracked red spot on one of his heals and one of his big toes (it still hadn't gone away from these pics).





We've been putting Eucerin Aquaphor on his feet, and it has helped with prevention, but not so much on the healing part. He also has a few spots on his leg and on his belly that need the aquaphor daily as well.

I feel so bad for the little pumpkin :( His cousin, Ana, has really bad dry skin too. She is much worse though and her feet are really bad. They are cracked all over, but I don't think that they have split open at all this year, like they have in previous.

So yeah. We forgot Christmas pics too! Well, actually, it's just been busy around here! Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve at Great Grandma J's (Playing with Great Grandpa and with his 2nd(ish) cousin, Sam), some from Christmas morning (please excuse the scary mama behind Orange Julius Mustache boy), and also some from Christmas day at my mom's house!

He's not to keen on the bath scene now.. but in December, he loved to float around on his belly!



Maddox loves football too. Sometimes he has to go to bed with his football.



On Dec 9th we went to the Jackson Street Roundhouse. Maddox was in heaven! He loved the Lego Train Set!

Maddox met Santa, but he wouldn't sit on his lap. So this is the best pic we have!



And before we left, we played with the toy trains! There were alot of little kids surrounding the tables!



On the 18th, Maddox woke up at 5:30am throwing up. He only threw up until about 6:30am, but he was miserable the entire day.



He first ate around 10:30am. He had a few goldfish.



Later in the day, he was STILL miserable. And he never stood or walked the entire day.





The next day he felt much better. But it still took him 3-4 days to feel normal again.



Maddox likes to pretend that anything, from a wrapping paper tube to a sword, is a light saber.

Maddox's Birthday Party

So 6 weeks ago Maddox had a birthday party and I forgot to post some pictures. Oops! Please forgive me, my mind has been a little preoccupied.

It was a good day! Maddox enjoyed everyone's company and all the presents that they brought!

Hair cut.

I trimmed some area's of Maddox's hair because it was almost a full inch longer in some area's. It has been bugging me for a long time and I really wanted to get it even. Now I am sad that all his whispy, soft, fluffy, baby hair is gone and in it's place is straight cut hair, like freshly cut grass. He looks like a big boy. I should have waited to do it. Him turning 2 AND losing his baby hair, in just two days is too much for me.









This morning I trimmed the hair around his ears so that he didn't have wings.

So the kitchen is a huge success! Everytime he walks by it, he gets really excited and has to go cut a fruit or veggie....

Happy Birthday to You!

Today is Maddox's 2nd birthday! We spent the day at Auntie Amy's house so that Maddox could play with his cousins. It was a good day. Before heading to grandma's, we went over to walmart and Auntie bought him Gordon for his Take Along train set, some Thomas stickers, some m&m's, and all in a Cars bag.

At home Maddox got to open up his present from Grandma Diane (a kitchen) and his present from Clayton and I (some pots and pans set and a basket of wooden food). He absolutely loved it all! Cutting the wooden fruits and veggies in half with his wooden knife was alot of fun! And then he topped the day off by watching Star Wars, while laying on the couch with day, until he passed out around 10pm!

On Saturday is his birthday party. It is just going to be family. No friends. We'll have fruits, veggies, cake & ice cream. Hopefully it will be a good time!
